У автомобиля, которому изначально уготована судьба «борца с бездорожьем» внешний вид должен соответствовать его предназначению. Автомобиль оснащен:

• большими прямоугольными арками,
• прямоугольными стильными крупными фарами, подчеркивающими мощь skoda snowman 2016,
• решеткой радиатора, выполненной в фирменном стиле,
• внушительными габаритами.

Внешний облик соответствует вкусам автолюбителей, предпочитающих сочетание ярко выраженного мужского стиля и надежности. По своим габаритным размерам новинка превосходит предшественника (Yeti). У него имеются следующие параметры:

• длина авто — 4,6 м.,
• ширина– 1,8 м.,
• высота – 1,76 м.,
• клиренс – 180 мм.

Кроме того, к обычной линейке цветов, производитель обещает добавить в палитру новых красок. Впервые шкода сноумен 2016 тест-драйв видео попало в СМИ еще в начале прошлого года.

Технические характеристики

Платформа Шкоды Сноумен – это шасси VW Tiguan — MQB. Предполагается внедрение в массовое производство моделей со следующими вариантами бензиновых и дизельных двигателей:

• бензиновый, объем 1,4 литра, 150 л.с.;
• бензиновый, объем 2,0 литра, 180 л.с.;
• бензиновый, объем 2,0 литра, 223 л.с.;
• дизельный, объем 2,0 литра, 150 л.с.;
• дизельный, объем 2,0 литра, 185 л.с.

Платформа будет позволять оборудовать двигатели системой автоматического или ручного отключения пары цилиндров. Изначально планировалось выпускать две версии автомобиля:

• переднеприводный;
• полноприводный.

Интересно. Управляемость премиального авто стала намного проще, чем у его более легкого предшественника, за счет новых настроек параметров усилителя рули, новой геометрии передней подвески и сложной регулируемой задней.

The earliest known photograph of a snowman, c.1853

Documentation of the first snowman is unclear. However, Bob Eckstein, author of The History of the Snowman, documented snowmen from medieval times by researching artistic depictions in European museums, art galleries, and libraries. The earliest documentation he found was a marginal illustration from a 1380 book of hours, found in the Koninklijke Bibliotheek in The Hague. The earliest known photograph of a snowman was taken in 1853 by Welsh photographer Mary Dillwyn, the original of which is in the collections of the National Library of Wales.[citation needed]

Snowmen are a popular theme for Christmas and winter decorations and also in children’s media. A famous snowman character is Frosty, the titular snowman in the popular holiday song «Frosty the Snowman» (later adapted into film and television specials), who was magically brought to life by the old silk hat used on his head. In addition to numerous related music and other media for Frosty, snow-men also feature as:

• Bouli, a French animated series about a snowman’s adventures in a magical place.
• Der Schneemann, a 1943 animated short film created in Germany.
• Doc McStuffins features a plush snowman named Chilly.
• Jack Frost, a 1996 horror movie in which a serial killer is transformed into a snowman.
• Jack Frost, a 1998 movie with Michael Keaton in which he wakes up as a snowman after a car accident.
• Oswald features a snowman named Johnny who runs an ice cream shop.
• The Snowman, British picture book (1978) by Raymond Briggs and animation (1982) directed by Dianne Jackson about a boy who builds a snowman that comes alive and takes him to the North Pole.

Snowman-themed items

Snowmen can also be a theme for toys, costumes, and decorations. They have been featured on New Year stamps, for example, in Russia and other post-Soviet states.

One common time for snowman-themed decorations is during the winter holiday and Christmas season, where it is celebrated. One craft book suggested a plan making a small snowman doll out of white glove, ribbon, and other craft supplies.

One book on snowmen, which included instructions on working with real snow, also mentions snowman-themed sweets and confections. Some options for snowman-themed dessert items include ice cream, marshmallows, and macaroons.

Giant snowmen and records

Larger style of snowman with conical base. The angle of repose of a piled substance may be an aspect of snowman building at this size, depending on the properties of the snow and the method of construction.

In 2015, a man from the U.S. State of Wisconsin was noted for making a large snowman 22 feet tall and with a base 12 feet wide.

The record for the world’s largest snowman was set in 2008 in Bethel, Maine. The snow-woman stood 122 feet 1 inch (37.21 m) in height, and was named in honor of Olympia Snowe, a U.S. Senator representing the state of Maine.

The previous record was also a snowman built in Bethel, Maine, in February 1999. The snowman was named «Angus, King of the Mountain» in honor of the then current governor of Maine, Angus King. It was 113 feet 7 inches (34.62 m) tall and weighed over 9,000,000 pounds (4,080,000 kg).

A large snowman known as «Snowzilla» has been built each winter in Anchorage, Alaska.

In December 2016 the smallest snowman of sorts was created in a nano-fabrication facility at University of Western Ontario. It consisted of three roughly 0.9 micron spheres of silica, platinum arms and nose, and a face made by an ion beam.

Construction

Snow becomes suitable for packing when it approaches its melting point and becomes moist and compact. Making a snowman of powdered snow is difficult since it will not stick to itself, and if the temperature of packing snow drops, it will form an unusable denser form of powdered snow called crust. Thus, a good time to build a snowman may be the next warm afternoon directly following a snowfall with a sufficient amount of snow. Using more compact snow allows for the construction of a large snowball by simply rolling it until it grows to the desired size. If the snowball reaches the bottom of the grass it may pick up traces of grass, gravel or dirt.

In North America, snowmen are generally built with three spheres representing the head, torso, and lower body. In the United Kingdom, two spheres are used, one sphere representing the body and one representing the head. The usual practice is to then decorate and optionally dress the snowman. Sticks can be used for arms, and a face is traditionally made with stones or coal for eyes and a carrot for a nose. Some like to dress their snowmen in clothing such as a scarf or hat, while others prefer not to risk leaving supplies out doors where they could easily be stolen or become stuck under melting ice.

There are variations to these standard forms; for instance, the popular song «Frosty the Snowman» describes a snowman being decorated with a corncob pipe, button nose, coal eyes and an old silk hat (usually depicted as a top hat). These other types range from snow columns to elaborate snow sculptures similar to ice sculptures.

One book describes classic snowman attachments as a black felt top hat, red scarf, coal eye pieces, carrot nose, and corn cob pipe.

Skoda Snowman тестируется в Альпах

Строиться новый паркетник будет на базе модульной платформе MQB, той же, что используется на Octavia и Superb. И этот автомобиль обещает быть одним из самых технически сложных, а соответственно и дорогих Шкода на рынке.

Прототип, показанный на фотографиях тестировался в Альпах совместно с другими автомобилями, проходившими плановые тестирования.

Да, кузов базируется на стилистике нынешнего Yeti,  но передняя часть теперь включает в себя обновленные фары и иные части фальшрешетки радиатора. Инженеры Skoda сделали автомобиль значительно более широким, с большими передними крыльями, что, по всей видимости, будет означать, Snowman будет ни чем не уступать по данному параметру Touareg.

Также испытательный образец больше обычного Yeti и в длину. На фото хорошо видно, что задние двери были удлинены относительно обычного кузова. Это стало необходимым для того, чтобы задние пассажиры получили более простой доступ к третьему ряду сидений, расположенному в багажном отделении. Такое же решение было использовано на Land Rover Discovery Sport.

Архитектура этой модели передне- и полноприводная. На бюджетных вариантах данного автомобиля, как у многих конкурентов в сегменте, будет устанавливаться передний привод, однако в большей части конфигураций будет использовать фрикционные муфты Haldex 5 для того, чтобы передавать крутящий момент и на задние колеса.

Официальные представители Skoda дали понять, что гибридные технологии для данного кроссовера пока не рассматриваются, так как это добавит новинке около €5,000 сверх обычной стоимости, что не будет хорошим решением для бюджетного бренда.

Помимо экологически чистых моторов также вне рассмотрения остались шестицилиндровые двигатели. И это, не смотря на то, что данные моторы уже практически разработаны, VW создает подобные агрегаты, пригодные для установки на архитектуру MQB. Таким образом, максимальная мощность для семиместного кроссовера не будет превышать 280 л.с.

Фотографам — «шпионам» также посчастливилось запечатлеть внутреннее убранство тестируемого автомобиля, но, к сожалению, в салоне кроме обилия устаревших частей интерьера с прошлой модели и оборудования для тестирования, ничего интересного, нового разглядеть не удалось.

Если предположить, что Skoda будет создавать свой интерьер из уже существующих частей. То есть, позаимствовав части у своих предыдущих моделей, то такое решение будет очень похоже на ранее принятому по Octavia и Superb. Многие части перешли с Octavia, соответственно на Superb. Да, это удешевило производство, позволило быстрее вывести автомобиль на конвейер, но при этом каких-то дизайнерских откровений и красивых, необычных решений ждать не стоит. Все будет сделано под кальку.

Variations

In addition to snowmen, other things can be produced. Typical variations on the snowman concept involve producing other snow creatures or snow decorations.

The Yuki Cone, named after the Japanese word for snow, involves building a small cone-shaped structure from snowballs, illuminated from the inside with a tea-light.

Sometimes other raw material might be used to create objects that mimic the snowman concept.

Japan

In Japanese, snowmen are called «Yukidaruma» (Japanese: 雪だるま). Possibly because the shape is related to a Daruma doll, they usually only have two sections instead of three.[citation needed] There is also a longstanding tradition in Japan of creating snow rabbits, or «Yukiusagi» (Japanese: 雪うさぎ).

Background Edit

Mis Snow Man was created with the boys from Johnny’s Jr. group Jr.BOYS for Takizawa Kakumei in January 2009. Mis Snow Man was originally a 9 member group, but in June 2009 Onodera Ikki was moved into another Johnny’s Jr. group, M.A.D. Later, in 2012, Sanada Yuma and Nozawa Yuki were removed from the group and formed a duo Jr’s group called noon boys. Later, Mis Snow Man changed its name to Snow Man.

The group was first announced as Snow Man for Takizawa Kabuki 2012 starring Takizawa Hideaki. They performed alongside MADE, MAD, JR.A, They武道 and juniors from Kanto and Kansai Jr. for 40 performances between April 8th — May 6th 2012

On March 1st, they were one of 11 units regularly participating in Johnny’s Jr. official entertainment website ‘ISLAND TV.’
